Damage Done By Hurricane or Tsunamis Wave Along Coast Line

This is results of damage done to coast line by a hurricane or tsunamis wave. Website: http://jboudreaux.page.tl

Sand on Barrier Islands WITHOUT Barriers, provides a False sense of Protection

Nature was eroded away by storm surges where there were NO Barriers to protect the sand and silt that provides nourishment to Barrier Islands and Coast Lines along waters edge. By pumping sand and silt along Barrier Islands and Coast Lines WITHOUT Barrier protection, is a disaster in the making.

Water intrusion comes from the bottom as well as the top. If this problem is not corrected, you have a false sense of protection.

When a storm surge comes WITHOUT Barriers to hold or contain the sand or silt, the sand and / or silt will wash away and be carried back into the sea by everyday surge and storm surge.

“Looks can be deceiving”. A large display of sand can easily be wash back to sea if not protected by Barriers strong enough to withstand the powerful destruction force of a storm surge.

With this invention, the force of Nature by means of storm surges, is used to build the wall of Barrier protection needed to be used against it. By containing the large amounts of sand that is brought in by storm surges, that goes over and between this invention, prevents the sand from being washed back out to sea. This invention is strong enough to withstand the power of storm surges and at the same time protect against salt-water intrusion and provide Land Restoration.

By providing multiple lines of protection just beneath the sand surface, sand and /or silt is retained and provide the environment so that nature can begin to rebuild itself. This invention also weakens the power and height of storm surges to lessen the damage that would have been caused. If and when damage occurs to this invention, it can be quickly repaired to maintain the same level of protection.

There is almost NO maintenance on this invention. By visual inspection, when areas are lower than other areas, simply add a section on top of lower existing section to maintain desired height.
