Great video with … Great video with such moving photos. Amazing, but Galveston is quite ready for visitors now. We were there for summer vacation and had a lovely time. The residents there are impressively resilient.
We went over Spring … We went over Spring Break and stayed at San Luis. There was still debris in the ocean like bags and metal, but the worse thing was The Flagship Hotel. It was so heart breaking to see that hotel destroyed. The windows were blown open and you could see the curtians of the rooms blowing outside. And the walls were gone so you could see inside the rooms. The never re opened. I’m going back next weekend cuz I luv Galveston so much!
The last time I … The last time I visited Glaveston was in 2007. We stayed at Hotel Galvez, of course which was very nice. It saddens me to hear that much of the devastation has not impoved after almost seven months. Being from the South, I can assure you that they will rebuild and overcome this tragedy!
